Why The Left Hates Christianity

That Democrats and other Leftists hate true Christianity is axiomatic and I’m not even going to bother to prove it. Some Leftists will say, “I don’t hate Christianity, I hate arrogant, hypocritical Christians.” This isn’t true. You don’t despise a religion based upon the hypocrisy of some of its adherents. That isn’t being fair with the religion. Leftys want us to be fair with Marxism and their ideology, Christianity deserves the same treatment. To learn what true Christianity is, one must go to the teachings of its Founder and His apostles who wrote the New Testament.
No, it’s Christianity (not just Christians) that the Left hates. And there are two main reasons for this hatred.
1. The first reason is as follows: “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23). Anybody who believes that a woman has a right to murder her unborn baby, or that children can be mutilated for sexually perverted reasons, or that men can become women and visa-versa, or in same sex marriage, or pedophilia, or that criminals can city streets at taxpayer expense and terrorize those taxpayers—anybody who believes those things is not going to measure up well against the fruit of the Spirit. I suspect all Leftists practice some of the virtues of Galatians 5:22-23 at some time, but only when they want to (not all the time as Christ demands), and will dismiss them as they fancy. There is no consistency in a Leftist practicing these qualities. Their “god” is themselves, not Jehovah.
2. A second, and more direct reason, the Left hates Christianity is stated in the following: “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21). And these concomitant verses: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9-10). Here is the major reason Leftists hate Christianity: the religion condemns, in no uncertain terms, what they want to practice. It’s either repent and be converted, or...hate. The Left chooses the latter.
Jesus put it very succinctly in John 7:7: "The world...hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” That was true in the first century, and it is just as true today. And the Left is very evil.
